The Caribbean Sea images have dimensions of 512x512
pixels at a spatial resolution of 3.5 km x 6.7 km, covering the area 8° N - 24° N
and 89° W - 58° W.
These images are useful to examine basin-wide patterns of
sea surface temperature,including upwelling in the southern margin of the basin,
effects from hurricanes, and in general to quickly generate time series for any
location throughout the Caribbean basin.
The archive is arranged by year and month. Links appearing in gray-on-gray text have no data available for that particular month.
