The Southeastern Caribbean Sea images have dimensions of
512x512 pixels at a spatial resolution of 1.5 km x 2.0 km, covering the area
8° N - 15° N and 67° W - 58° W.
These images are useful to examine the details of sea
surface temperature patterns off the northeastern coasts of Venezuela, as well as
the coasts of Trinidad and the Lesser Antilles islands. Of particular interest in
defining this region was the Cariaco Basin and waters around Margarita Island,
Venezuela.
